About Us- Message from the Founders

Thank you for your interest in Complete Legal Investigations, Inc. The purpose of our website is to explain the services we provide to plaintiff personal injury, criminal defense and family attorneys to help you better serve your clients.

In October 2001, I started Great Southern Detective Agency, Inc. to serve the criminal defense and family law bar in South Florida. For 14 years, I served as a staff investigator for both the local Public Defender in Palm Beach County (1984-1990) and the Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of Florida (1993-2001). It was my privilege to work with talented trial lawyers who taught me the value of accurate and reliable information.

The agency grew quickly, and in September 2003, Wendy Murnan left a long-term position with a nationally renowned personal injury attorney to join me. As a Certified Paralegal (CP®), Wendy brought an expertise in civil law that allowed us to expand our services to plaintiff personal injury attorneys. By March 2006, we added three more investigators, a researcher, a transcriber, and a courier to provide the level of service we envisioned for our clients. Our company name was changed to more accurately reflect our mission: provide our attorney-clients with complete confidence through information.

We create the "staff investigator" experience for our clients by providing the opportunity to involve them with us in the discovery and investigative process; by giving them access to our investigators and staff on a daily basis by phone and e-mail; and to enjoy the exchange of ideas and information from the field in "real time," as we talk to witnesses and develop leads from day to day.

Training the next generation of investigators is also important to us, and we are blessed with a gifted staff that shares our vision of commitment and service. Our attorney-clients receive the attention and talents of a unique blend of professionals, whose life experiences and expertise result in a dynamic synergy unmatched in South Florida and beginning in 2007, into the Treasure Coast.

There is nobility in our service to your clients, who desperately need guidance and respect as they struggle in an overwhelming and overpowering system. It is our pleasure to join you in this just cause, and we invite you to let us serve you as you serve your clients.
